William Wins!

It was a very proud moment for the entire team at Roses2go t/a A Dozen Roses when William Koloamatangi won the 2010 NSW Training Awards – Disability Student of the Year Award for the Central Coast Region. Wow! what an achievement for Will who has attained top honours in his Horticulture Certificate 2 course and gone on to win Student of the Year Award in the Disability Category.

The awards ceremony was held on 8th July, 2010 at Diggers @ The Entrance – a very grand affair indeed!  Wade & I were kindly invited by Job Centre Australia who organised William’s placement & training with us & have been instrumental is assisting William & Roses2Go throughout the process.

William – on receiving his award – gave a wonderful speech in front of a room full of people and he spoke so clearly & well.  William made special mention and thanked each and everyone involved and made us so proud of being a part of William’s training and employment.  Well done – what a wonderful ambassador for Roses2Go Pty Ltd, thank-you William.

Roses2Go is proud to be able assist with giving employment to people with disabilities and we are greatful to Jenny, Sharon & the team at Job Centre for the opportunity to do so.
